WHAT IS IT?
-Brand new 3-ply, 11 hole, parchment strat pick guard, vintage creme covers, pre wired with the Seymour Duncan JB JR bridge and California 50's ssl-1 vintage for stratocaster neck and mid. Has a push/pull pot on the volume to coil split the JB JR into a single coil. (The push pull can be moved to one of the tones or substituted for a mini toogle. WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE?
-This pickguard is designed to give you vintage strat tones with the option of humbucker bridge tone. The JB Jr. bridge pickup provides high-output, rich harmonics, and articulate highs. Great for soloing! Gives you the tonal character of the popular JB model humbucker in a single-coil size. The push pull on the volume allows you to split the JB Jr into a single coil to get the sharp and present tones of a bridge strat. This also allows for the soft and springy "2" position on the 5 way using the bridge and middle pickups together. (I call this the Mark Knophler tone:)

-The Seymour Duncan ssl-1 CA 50's pickups are vintage-correct true single-coils. The hand-ground Alnico 5 magnets and moderate windings (Heavy Formvar wire) yield a bright and punchy tone with vintage output. The pickups produce a more focused "bell" tone with a light bass response. Perfect for players who need accurate traditional single-coil tone, especially with clean and mildly distorted amp settings. The middle pickup is rw/rp.
