What is it?
-This pre-wired pickguard is Smokey B's rendition of a 57 strat pickguard.  A Parchment ALLPARTS 3 ply 11 hole strat pickguard with VINTAGE CREME volume, tone, and pickup covers. Wired and loaded with Seymour Duncan Antiquity Texas Hot Pickups (1950's style relic). Other pickup combinations available upon request (prices may vary).  Vintage style cts 250k pots, an oak five way switch, and wired with vintage style pull pack cloth wire.

What will it sound like?

Each Texas Hot is carefully assembled and hand-wound like the traditional classics. Careful attention to details like scatter-winding ensures that the Texas Hot looks and sounds like a classic Strat should. Made for the player wanting the closest re-creation of a vintage 50's pickup. The magnets are calibrated and the coils are wound "top going" with "north" magnetic polarity, the same as the early vintage models.

(Available with the rw/rp for the middle and Texas Hot Custom bridge upon request).  The Custom Bridge gives a little more output and the  RW/RP for the middle position allows the pickups to be hum free in the 2 and 4 position on the five way.
